My Brothers, as you read this, it is the year 2026. Which means a new and fresh beginning for all of us.
There will be new and strange faces, ones that only mothers could love, sitting in the chairs when you come to lodge after January’s installation of officers. But a word of caution. Beware of strange faces, and don’t sell these guys short or take them lightly.
We officers look forward to working with all of you, with our goal being to make all of us better men. This year you’re in for a ride to the unexpected. And we think you’ll be happy.
Our first “First Fridays Breakfast Bunch” is scheduled for January 2, at 9:30, at Bob Evans Restaurant off C 466. No agenda, no wives. Then, our first Social Dinner of the year will be on Monday, January 19, at Evans Prairie Country Club, 1825 Evans Prairie Trail, The Villages. Social hour begins at 4:30, dinner at 5:00 pm. Details on both these activities are on the website.
Finally, when appropriate, and to increase communication within the lodge, you’ll be getting email reminders from the Junior Warden detailing lodge social and other special events. Check your emails and the website often to keep yourself up to speed.
